Jesuit Refugee Service Australia is hosting two information evenings on Timor Leste. The topic is 'Unrest and displacement'

The first one is to be held at Xavier College in Melbourne on the 24th of September at  7.30 pm

The second one is to be held at St Ignatius Parish, Norwood, South Australia on the 25th of September at  7.30 pm

The speakers on the evening are:

Ms Isabel Guterres, Secretary-General of the  East Timor Red Cross, Commissioner on the Timor-Leste Reception, Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Dr Annemarie Devereux, a Human rights lawyer who has worked with three UN peace keeping missions in East Timor (2000-2005).

Dr Maryanne Loughry rsm. Associate Director of Jesuit Refugee Australia and former Pedro Arrupe tutor at the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford.
